Academic Entrance Scholarship
Academic Entrance Scholarships is designed to support international students by offering financial support for eligible programs. Scholarships are applied to first-term tuition fees after the deposit is received. In-person or hybrid programs only. Not applicable for online programs.

How do I apply for the Academic Entrance Scholarship?
- Apply for admission for programs starting in January 2026, May 2026 or September 2026
- All international students are automatically considered at the time of admission.
- Pay the required tuition deposits within 30 days of receiving the offer letters.
How do I apply for the Spousal Scholarship?
- Apply for admission for programs starting in January 2026, May 2026 or September 2026
- Submit a valid marriage certificate and a completed Spousal Scholarship application form with their applications.
- Pay the required tuition deposits within 30 days of receiving offer letters.
When will the scholarship amount appear on my WebAdvisor account?
The scholarship amount will be reflected on your WebAdvisor Student Portal after you have paid the required tuition deposits within 30 days of receiving your offer letter. For 2-year programs, the second installment (if applicable) will appear in the second term, provided that you maintain good academic standing.
What happens if I change my program after receiving the Spousal Scholarship?
If you choose to change your program, the Spousal Scholarship offers will be automatically voided.
What happens if my study permit application is denied?
If the study permit application is denied, Fanshawe College will issue a deposit refund, less $250 CAD per student.
If I apply for a Spousal Scholarship, am I eligible to combine it with the Academic Entrance Scholarship?
Neither the primary applicant (not receiving the Spousal Program Scholarship) nor the recipient will be eligible to receive the Academic Entrance Scholarship.
